OBITUARY Fay Collins August 19, 1929 – January 17, 2019 Fay Collins, 89, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Thursday Jan 17, 2019. Memorial Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday Jan 23, 2019 at Laurel Land Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers: donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Fort Worth.

Fay was born in Pottsboro, Texas on August 19, 1929 and graduated from Denison High School. She married Otha Collins on November 3, 1948 in Bonham, Texas, and followed her husband for 22 years in the Air Force before finally retiring in Fort Worth. Fay worked for Dillards for 10 years and was often one of their top sales people.

She was the painter while her husband did the cutting in their small craft woodcraft business, her passion included current events, books, her cat Baby, and any kind of cookie. Fay is preceded in death by husband, Otha Collins; brother, Earl Brown; sisters, Lola Smith, Iwannah Bailey, Ada Perrin and Jen Perrin. She is survived by daughters, Betty Bryan and husband Rodney, and Rosanna McDaniel and husband Emil Fritz; granddaughter, Lindsey Peters; five great-grandchildren, Austin, Christian, and Victoria Peters, Blake and Eli Stokes; sister, Hannah Watts; and several nieces and nephews.
