Obituary for Fern N. Anderson Print Fern N Anderson, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:15 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center- Danville. Born June 12, 1933 in Bratton Township, he was the son of the late Phillip and Francis (Heister) Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Brian Anderson, and numerous brothers and brothers-in-law.

Fern will be remembered and missed by his loving wife, Janice (Van Scyoc) Anderson, children, Barb Kauffman and husband Jim of Lewistown, Lynn Neidigh and husband Dan of Blanchard, Sherry Haller and husband Steve of Leesport, and David Anderson and companion Scott Mctavish, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 5 Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Fern was employed at Brooklyn Mills for over 40 years. He was a member of Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, and loved spending time with his family and woodworking in his free time.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, 87 Pine Glen Road, Lewistown with Pastor Randy Fiske officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place in Pine Glen Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fern’s memory are respectfully encouraged to: Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, 87 Pine Glen Rd. , Lewistown PA 17044. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
