(Sevits) Speck, age 94, of Painesville will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Concord Alliance Church, 7152 Painesville-Ravenna Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077. She was born March 20,1924 in Somerset, PA to Clyde and Freda (Lape) Sevits. Ferne passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts.

, OH. She was a lifelong member of Concord Alliance Church. Ferne is survived by her daughter Lori (Wilfried) Schott of Chardon; sister, Thelma Clark; grandchildren, James Speck Jr., Kandi Perkins, Samuel Speck; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter Speck; son, James Speck; daughter, Linda D’Amore; brother, Kenneth Sevits; sister, Dorothy Collister. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Concord Alliance Church.
