Obituary for Florence L. Williams Florence L. Williams, 91, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at her residence. She was born on April 10, 1927 in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Gustave and Augusta Zech Thelke. On October 18, 1952, she married James Edwin Williams.

He preceded her in death on May 15, 2018. Florence worked at Advertisers of Ripon prior to her marriage. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women where she served as secretary.

She enjoyed reading, writing, hiking, playing the piano, puzzles, canning, pie making and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Daniel (Barbara) Williams of Reedsburg, JoAnn (Peter) Hinn of Fond du Lac, and Bonnie (Brad) Curran of Oshkosh, 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, and her sister Ruth (Lyle) Hart of Black River Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Richard in 1970 and her brother Vernon (Lois) Thelke.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 20 North Marr Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, with Rev. Joel Deaner-Rogers and Rev.
