Rich Valley, VA Floyd Alfred “Al” Musser, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 6, 2018. He was born on September 22, 1926 to the late Floyd Pearson Musser and Elva Snavely Musser. Al was also preceded in death by his wife Vernie Mae Musser; brothers, Gene and Bill Musser; and a granddaughter April Renee Armstrong.

He was known and respected by many as a master mechanic. Al owned and operated his own garage in Perryville (Saltville) for many years, and was a U.S. Army… Read More » veteran serving in WWII from November 1944 to August 1946. He is survived by his daughter Susie Armstrong and husband Jerl of Rich Valley; grandson Ryan Armstrong and wife Becky of Rich Valley; granddaughter, Tracy Lomans and husband Mike of Chilhowie; great grandchildren, Katie Armstrong, Adam Armstrong, Hagan Van Deest, Lucas Van Deest and Autumn Lomans.

There will be a private Memorial service held at a later date. The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers, Kim Smith Tiffany Pruitt and the staff at Valley Health Care Center for all their care given.
