He was born February 26, 1951 in Poughkeepsie, AR to James Ray Gipson & Georgia Evelyn Gann Gipson. Floyd was a loving husband and father who loved motorcycles.

He worked for Burnham & Morrill Bean Company in Portland, ME for over 30 years. He was of Baptist belief. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Rodger Gipson.

He is survived by his wife, Rita; daughter, Carrie Ann Gipson; sister, Alta Hill; and half-brothers, Johnny Davis & Lee Davis. A memorial will be held, Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. SERVICES Memorial Service Tuesday, March 12, 2019 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM House-Gregg Funeral Home S.W. 3RD & VINE ST.
