OBITUARY Floyd Louis Pfeffer October 23, 1935 – September 24, 2018 Floyd Louis Pfeffer passed away on September 24, 2018 at the age of 82. He was born in New Orleans on October 23, 1935 to Erwin Joseph Pfeffer and Florence Teresi Pfeffer. Beloved husband of Sybil Hector Pfeffer.

Father of Sharon Pfeffer Ladegaillerie (Marc), Charlotte Pfeffer Kelt (Ricky), and Craig Pfeffer. Grandfather of Gabrielle Ladegaillerie, Rick Kelt (Erica), Rachel Kelt, Andre Ladegaillerie, Rebecca Kelt, and Ross Kelt (Kelly). Great grandfather of Hunter Munn and Rosalie Louise Kelt.

Brother of Joseph Pfeffer. Floyd served his country in the United States Naval Reserve for eight years. He spent his career in automotive and motorcycle repair.

He was an enthusiastic hobbyist including bass fishing, dirt bike riding, go carting, model airplane building, and flying. He also assisted in building the world’s fastest sports car in 1960. He was a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Church.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alzheimers Foundation (ALZFDN. ORG). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 AM.

Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. Special thanks to the caregivers at Fidelis 1 for the care he received in his last days.
