Obituary of Floyd Segerlin Floyd Duane Segerlin—90 of 348 E. Virginia Blvd, Jamestown, NY passed away December 1, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. He was born November 13, 1928 to the late Francis and Alvin Segerlin. Floyd graduated from Falconer High School in 1946.

He and his wife operated “The Igloo” for several years prior to his retirement. Floyd had also worked for Kochs Beer, Seven-Up, Pepsi, New York Life Insurance, and Paul Revere Insurance Company. He attended Camp Street Methodist Church.

Floyd enjoyed wintering in Lakeland Florida where he also enjoyed being a “handyman” in the park where he resided. He loved to sing along with his karaoke machine. Floyd is survived by his wife Shirley, his daughter Brenda Gray of Warren, PA, his stepdaughters Paula Nalbone of Ashville, NY, and Rhonda Kotraba of York, SC, his stepson Michael Nelson of West Ellicott, NY, his grandchildren Kenneth Gray of Aurora, OH, Daniel Gray of Jamestown, NY, Shawn Segerlin of Monroe, NC, Joanna Dougan of Indian Trail, NC, Michael Segerlin of Indian Land, SC, Jodie Crouse of Jamestown, NY, Jeremy Nalbone of Jamestown, NY, Justin Kotraba of Elizabeth City, NC, and Shannon Kotraba of York, Sc.

Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Alvin Segerlin in 1977, and his son, David Segerlin in 2005. A memorial will be held later at the family’s convenience.
