Frances’ Obituary Frances A. Jackson, 92, of Moweaqua, IL received her heavenly crown and was welcomed home May 7, 2019. Funeral services to celebrate her homecoming will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at First Christian Church, Moweaqua. Visitation to celebrate Frances’ life will be from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua.

Burial will be in Bilyeu Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Kentucky Mission or Haiti Missions. Frances Alma was born November 18, 1926 in Pana, IL, the daughter of Francis E. and Sylvia (Lingenfelter) Lamm.

On January 25, 1947 she married Herbert Leslie “Herb” Jackson, at her parents’ home in Moweaqua. Surviving are her children: Louise (Buck) Schmahl of Assumption, IL and Ray (Beth) Jackson of Macon, IL; “spoiled grandchildren”: John Schmahl, Karen (David) Nash, all of Moweaqua, IL, Amy (Kevin) Zhang of Athens, OH, Wesley Jackson, Bradley (Hannah) Jackson, all of Macon, IL and “adored great-grandchildren”: Rebekah Nash, Jacob Nash, Naomi Schmahl and Noah Schmahl. Preceding her in death are her husband Herb, parents, three brothers, four sisters and a very special friend, Robert “Bob” Bunning.

The family would like to express their gratitude to her friend and caregiver of 3 years, Susan Parker and last 7 months to everyone at Shelbyville Manor for their exceptional care and compassion given. It was her extended family at Shelbyville Manor that gave her the nickname “Nugget” and named her the Valentines Day Sweetheart Queen, February 14, 2019.
