Obituary for Frances Ann Deckard Frances Ann Deckard, 91, of Pittsburg, passed away November 26, 2018 at Medicalodge in Pittsburg, KS. She was born January 28, 1927 in Chicopee, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Ferns) Gilmore. Frances married Joe J. Deckard on December 22, 1945 in Chicopee.

He preceded her in death. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. Frances was a lifetime resident of Pittsburg.

She was a member of AARP, Alter Society and The Pink ladies. She loved bowling and was recognized for scoring a perfect game in the local newspaper. Frances enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and sewing.

She was an avid Royals fan who never missed the chance to watch a game. Survivors include 2 sons; David (Becky) Deckard of Wichita, KS, Mark (Stephanie) Deckard of Pittsburg, KS, 1 daughter; Judy (Bernie) Wingebach of Arma, KS, 2 sisters, Mary Zakowski of Pittsburg, KS, Rose Wente of Springfield, MO, 3 Grandchildren, B.J. Wingebach of Arma, KS, Nathan (Trisha) Wingebach of Joplin, MO, Tiffany Deckard of Pittsburg, KS, 3 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 9 brothers; John, Fernan, Leo, Pete, Charles, Edward, Danny, Thomas and Joseph Gilmore.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.
