OBITUARY Frances Downing April 4, 1929 – December 22, 2018 Frances (Berry) Downing, of Bourne, passed away peacefully at her home with family on Saturday, December 22, 2018 . She was the wife of the late Everett Edward Downing. Born in Barnstable, MA, a daughter of the late William F. and Alice (Brown) Berry.

She is survived by her children, James Downing and his wife Kathleen of Falmouth, MA, Ron Downing and his wife Tracy of Hatchville, MA, Pauline Sampson and her husband Darrell of Bourne, MA,. Jeanne Downing-Jacobs and her husband Dale of Bourne and Don Downing and his wife Kimberly of Wilbraham, MA; 9 grandchildren, Abby Downing, Amanda Sampson, Chelsea Davidson, Ian Downing, Jamie Downing, Jennifer Norton, Jodi Downing, Sara Phillips and Shannon Nickles and 10 great beloved great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Salyan Downing Fanning and Bernice Phillips and her late son-in-laws, Ed Fanning and William Phillips.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. , Bourne, MA.
