Obituary for Frances E Moller Moller, Frances E. October 2, 1918 – November 30, 2018 Frances E. Moller, 100 of Sarasota, FL; formerly of Statesboro, Georgia and Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday November 30, 2018 in Sarasota. Frances was born in Bicknell, Indiana to Paul and Audrey Brewer. She preceded in death by her husband, Streeter H. Moller, and brother Lewis P. Brewer.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Morenz (David) of Sarasota, FL, her son Paul C. Moller (Claudia) of Augusta, GA, her grandson Nickolas B. Moller of Santa Ana, CA, and her sister-in-law Jeanne Brewer of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and family. Frances moved to Sarasota, FL the first time in 1967. In 1989 she moved to Statesboro, GA where she lived until moving back to Sarasota in 2014.

She was passionate about her family, followed closely by her love of music which included singing with Big Bands, church choirs, as well as supporting local high school band booster organizations in Carmel, IN and Sarasota, FL. She funded and was leader of the Windy Millers Band of Sarasota and the Young at Heart Fun Kazoo Band of Statesboro, GA. Fran was manager of the Auxiliary Hospitality Shop os Sarasota Memorial Hospital from 1970 to 1986.

She was an active member of the American Business Woman’s Association being named Woman of the Year in 1983 for the Ringling Chapter of Sarasota and 1994 for the Lotts Creek Chapter of Statesboro. She also was a recipient of a 1995 Dean Day Smith Award for Unselfish Service to the People of Bulloch County, GA. Fran was an enthusiastic supporter of Georgia Southern University Football being known for wearing her pink feather hat to many games.

Clowning around with her grandson, Nickolas, was something she also enjoyed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sarasota Senior Friendship Center, 1888 Brother Greenen Way, Sarasota FL 34236. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 on Dec.

7 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 800 McIntosh Rd. in Sarasota. Family Visitation at 11.
