Obituary for Frances Joy Hoiles Frances Joy Hoiles, 93, of Uniontown, and formerly of Alliance, died on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 5:55 a.m. at Greenview Inn in Uniontown. She was born on August 30, 1924 in Alliance and lived in Alliance most of her life. Joy was a 1942 graduate of Alliance High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo where she loved to volunteer at many different church functions.

Joy had a beautiful bond with her granddaughter, Adrianna, who is visually impaired. She enjoyed reading to her and telling stories. She always said that God let her live this long because of the special, loving bond they shared.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Hoffman of San Diego, CA and Suzanne Hoiles of Las Vegas, NV; her sons, Richard Hoiles of Columbus and Christopher (Marie) Hoiles of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Brenda, Jim, Bobby, Levi and Adrianna, several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert R. Hoiles on March 17, 1987; her parents, Francis “Jack” and Margaret (Gregg) Snyder; sister, Jean Schwall. The family will receive friends at Walton-Schrader Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.

Joseph Ruggieri, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Maximo. Memorial Mass Intensions may be given in Joy’s memory to Nativity of Our Lord Church, 2425 Myersville Rd.
