OBITUARY Frances Lorraine McCreary Collins November 6, 1945 – December 28, 2018 Frances McCreary Collins passed away on December 28, 2018 in Green Cove Springs, FL. She was born November 6, 1945 in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Edd Lee McCreary and Hester Willard McCreary.

Frances was a successful and hardworking Manager with a textile company making women and baby clothing. Her beautiful character also shown through as a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend. Now we can truly believe she is constantly smiling since she is with God, no longer in pain and gets to see the husband she has missed for so many years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Vance Z. Collins; her parents; and her brothers, Bobby McCreary and Kenny McCreary. Frances leaves behind her daughter, Wendy C. Taylor; son-in-law, Ian Taylor; siblings, Edd McCreary, Joann Hodges, and Phillip McCreary; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. Her family would also like to thank Community Hospice of Jacksonville, FL.

They made the last week of Frances’s life comfortable. She was able to spend her last days at home for Christmas, without any pain, as she truly wished! The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 10am at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Drive.

The family will receive friends for a visitation following the service.
