Frances Margaret (Terry) Smith, passed away on October 18, 2018 in Scenic, AZ. Frances was born on October 29, 1923 in Cookeville, TN to William T. Terry and Clara Ann Judd. She married Shelby Clark Smith on July 17, 1943 in Cookeville, TN, and they had a loving marriage until his passing on July 9, 1998 in Torrance, CA.

Frances was a kind, loving, generous, and selfless woman. She would never say a harsh word to or about anyone. She was truly a virtuous woman.

She was also an amazing country-style cook and loved baking. Her family enjoyed her pies, cakes, pastries, rolls, cookies, and Easter & Christmas candies. She was a seamstress of clothing, lingerie, evening and wedding gowns.

Frances was also a canner, a quilter, a gardener, and was called Macgyver for her quick fixes and ingenuity. Her family knew her as the “Energizer Mama”, and she drove until she was ninety. Although she began to slow down in the last few years of her life, we will remember her for all the amazing things she did.

Frances is survived by her children; Clark Smith, Caliente, CA, Vaugh Smith of Laguna Hill,s CA, Anthony (Pan Motes) Smith of Sacramento, CA, and Frankey Ann Cucinotta of Scenic, AZ, her grandchildren; Tona (Stenson) Cucinotta of Las Vegas, NV, Michele Cucinotta (Bullock) of Mesquite, Nvand Michael (Shelley Cucinotta of Salt Lake City, UT, and her great-grandchildren; Bobby and Shelby Stenson, Wyatt, Mitchell, and Charlyann Bullock, Kylee and Adison Cucinotta, Dylan, and Letisha Kelsey. She is the last of seven children. She is preceded in death by Vivian (Terry) Bennett, November 10, 1963, Cleveland, OH, Woodford Terry, Mary (Terry) Bennett, Clark Terry, Chirstine (Terry) Norris, January 7, 2018, Clinton, TN, and Josephine Terry, B. October 1, 1929 D. March 28, 1941.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Rd. Mesquite, NV 89027, with the Viewing Services at 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. PST, with the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be November 9, 2018 in Smyrna Cemetery in Cookeville, TN.
