Our loving mother passed away January 13, 2019, in the home she was born into after a lengthy bout of heart and kidney complications. Frances M. (Fleagle) Shollenberger, age 86, daughter of Ray and Margaret (Motes) Fleagle. She was the wife of Ray H. Shollenberger who died October 27, 2006.

Frances was a 1950 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. She was a homemaker, and worked as a Bell Telephone operator, pharmacy assistant and bookkeeper. Frances retired from Hamburg Center in the personnel department after working the switchboard there for many years.

She loved bowling, playing BINGO, and going to the casinos. Frances is survived by a daughter; Linda Dunkle; and four sons; Barry, wife Elizabeth; Allen, wife Vicki; Bruce; and Paul, wife Megan. Ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren also survive her.

In addition to her husband, Frances was predeceased by three siblings: Ray Fleagle, Jr., Dorothy Schminkey, and Robert Fleagle. A small graveside remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family honoring Frances’s request. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
