Frances’ Obituary Mrs. Frances Jewel Howell Stone, 89, of Dalton passed away Friday, May 3, 2019. She was the daughter of the late H.M. “Pete” and Bessie Casey Howell and was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Troy L. Stone; brother, Earl D. Howell; sisters, Ruby Howell Thorne and Claudelle Beckler. Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was retired from the textile industry after 22 years. She is survived by her children, Troyce (Alan) Nash of Soddy Daisy, TN, Janice Sherrill of Calhoun, and Kim (Robbie) Stone of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev.

Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 until the service at 2 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, GA Chapter, 922 E. Morris St. Dalton, Ga.
