Obituary of Frances Sochacki SOCHACKI, Frances A. age 66 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born March 27, 1952 in Elmira, daughter of the late Theodore J. and Bernice (Passanante) Sochacki and passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 unexpectedly at home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Andrew.

Frances is survived by her sister Mary Keach and brother TJ Sochacki both of Elmira; niece and nephews Stasha, Andrew, Anthony and Nicholas; “her girls” Galit Shilo, Sharon Khen and Adi Kol whom she served as a nanny for while they were growing up. Frances retired from the Elmira Correctional Facility as a secretary (KBS). She was a member of St. Casimir’s Wanda Circle; was an avid bingo player and bowler, Yankees and college football fan and enjoyed ceramics.

Big nails, big hair, big heart. Her superpower was typing 140 wpm with those big nails! She was quick to laugh and was a kind friend, daughter, sister and cousin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
