OBITUARY Francis W. Scudder April 11, 1920 – December 28, 2018 On December 28, 2018 Francis (Frank) Wendall Scudder Beloved Husband of Frances (Fran) B. Scudder and Grandfather of Britney Scudder. Born in 1920, Frank, at a young age, served in WWIIs 87th Infantry , crossing France, Germany, Belgium and fought in the Battle of the Bulge where he suffered frostbitten legs and feet. At a much later date he was declared 100% disabled.

Being a soldier at heart, he re-enlisted for the Korean War. Unable to physically serve in combat, he was sent to Japan for six months in a non-combat role. In his heart, he remained a soldier for life, joining the local VFW and participating in every reunion of the 87th Infantry, traveling state to state to do so.

Frank and Fran adopted two children, Kevin and Dawn, both of whom predeceased them. Family will receive friends at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc. 3631 Falls Road Baltimore, Maryland 21211 on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 am.

Interment private.
