OBITUARY Francis X. Flaherty July 27, 1930 – December 12, 2018 Francis X. Flaherty, 88, of DeLand, FL, formerly of Portland, ME, was carried away by angels to Heaven on December 12, 2018. In Heaven, Francis joined the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Jean Flaherty; his beloved daughter, Faith Corneau; brother, Ted Flaherty; and sister, Eileen Flaherty. Francis leaves behind 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a sister.

Francis spent 12 years with the National Guard, and retired from both Pitney-Bowes and AAA. Viewing will be Tuesday, December 18 at 11:30am with Funeral Services following at 1pm, both at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, Orange City, FL. Condolences may be offered at www.
