Obituary for Francisco “Frank” Aguilar Francisco “Frank” Aguilar, 48, was called home on June 21, 2018. Frank was born to Camilo and Maria De La Luz (Acosta) Aguilar on October 26, 1969 in Michoacán, Mexico. Frank and his family lived in Romeoville, Illinois where he attended R.C. Hill Elementary School, Westview Middle School and Romeoville High School.
Frank played little league baseball and was on the wrestling team in middle school. Frank’s most proudest moments was playing varsity football during his high school years. After graduation from High School, he attended DeVry Institute, where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology.
After completing DeVry Institute, Frank worked several job before working at AllState Insurance, where he worked with their information technology for several years. In 2000, Frank became an entrepreneur in creating Latino Internet, an organization he created to repair computers, software and internet service. While owning his own business, Frank drove a school bus for the Mansfield Independent School District and volunteered as an instructor for alter-boys at St. Jude Catholic Church.
In 2012, Frank became ill and he no longer was able to work but, instead, cared for his ailing father. Frank has been preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose Camilo Aguilar Sr. and Ernestina Aguilar Arroyo as well as his maternal grandparents, Mateo Acosta and Baldomeda Acosta Cruz. Frank is survived by both his parents, his sisters Elsa Acosta, Iris Aguilar-Leal, Uncles Regino Acosta, Emilio Aguilar, Leonor Aguilar, Ramon and Luis Aguilar; Aunts Maria Martha Rodriguez, Ana Aguilar, and Marina Aguilar.
He was Godfather to his nephew Victor Vasquez and niece Suzette Berrios, a proud uncle to his nieces Azaleia and Jazmine Leal, cousins Veronica Foster, Julieta Acosta, Vanessa Vargas, Monica Garza, Alejandra Jacobs, Dora Faudoa, Lucy Mockalis, and Alma Fuerte as well as many other aunts and uncles in the United States and Mexico. A selfless soul, Frank freely donated of his body, after his passing, so that others may benefit and live a fuller and richer life. For those that knew and loved Frank, he will always be appreciated, missed and mostly, loved.
