Obituary for Frank Broadhurst Franklin Larry Broadhurst passed away on November 18, 2018. Born July 4, 1942 in Danbury, Connecticut, Frank spent much of his life in New York, Florida, and eventually Tennessee. He is a veteran who served four years each in the U.S. Marines and in the U.S. Air Force.

A graduate of The University of South Florida, Frank also studied art restoration at Campbell College in Illinois and spent much of his retirement years restoring art for a number of galleried in our area as well as private individuals. He is survived by his wife, Joy Tilson Broadhurst; step-daughter, Chantelle Turner Fields and husband Randy Fields; step grandchildren, Lana Grace and Evan Tilson Fields of Knoxville; sister, Jan Kweit, of New Jersey; three children – William George Broadhurst, Michelle Elizabeth Broadhurst, and Franklin Larry Broadhurst, Jr. all of New York-New Jersey; a special niece, Michelle Russell Smith of Greensboro, NC; great niece, India Chase Russell Mitchell of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Doris Lowery, Jackie Hogan and husband Robert, Jerry Russell; brothers-in-law, Howard Tilson, Randy Tilson and his wife Patty. HE was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Frank Broadhurst and a sister, Karen DeFazio.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Caris Hospice, the staff of PT Solutions, and Drs. Bradley and Kimsey of Premier Surgical Group of Knoxville for their care. They also wish to extend a special thanks to family and friends that offered sympathy, assistance, love and respect for Frank.
