Frank Cecchini, 81, of Old Bridge, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Raritan Bay Medical Center Old Bridge. He was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Old Bridge for over 40 years. Frank was a dock worker for Preston Trucking for 35 years, and a union member of ILA #1730 before his retirement.

He also served in the United States Navy. Frank enjoyed taking trips with his wife to Atlantic City as well as going to local diners to relax and grab a bite to eat. He was predeceased by his first wife Rose Cecchini, a brother Larry and a stepson George.

He leaves behind his wife Diana Cecchini, two sons and daughters-in-law Glenn and Alexandra Cecchini, and Christopher and Lois Cecchini, a daughter and son-in-law Kelly Cecchini and Thomas Podurgiel, one brother Michael, three sisters Clara, Diane and Lorraine as well as three stepchildren, DodyAnn, Jody, and Jim, 9 grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren and one great grand daughter. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home and a funeral service will take place at 10 AM followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
