Forrest was born September 23, 1992 in Savannah, grew up in Effingham where he graduated from South Effingham High School in 2011 and enjoyed playing baseball and football. He was a Barber, a good listener, and loved talking.

He had a big heart and never came in contact with a stranger and most of all was a loving father. He enjoyed hunting and especially duck hunting. He loved the Sun and watersports, was a daredevil, and could tear up a hammer.

He is survived by his parents, Forrest and Nancy Floyd; sister, Kylie Floyd (Mike Judson); son, Baby Forrest; fiancée, Kayla Bland; nephew, Theo Judson; grandfather, Frank Neville Floyd; grandmother, Betty Holsenbeck Gercken; uncles and aunts, Tracy and Will Floyd, Joe and Georgette Gercken; cousins, Luke, Grant, Sam, Erica, and Eden; and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.

Interment will be private. Remembrances may be given to Rincon United Methodist Church Children’s Ministry, 107 Savannah Ave. , Rincon, GA 31326.
