OBITUARY Frank Jiro Hashimoto November 22, 1941 – September 21, 2018 Frank Jiro Hashimoto was born on November 22, 1941 in Fresno, CA. He passed away peacefully on September 21, 2018. Frank went to the Japanese internment camps as a young child.

He graduated from Fresno State, where he played baseball. Frank joined the Army and served in Alaska. He met and married his true love, Darlene Yoshiko.

They spent 48 wonderful years together and raised two children. Frank worked as an accountant for Clovis Unified. He was very active in serving Sansei Baseball, JACL, and the Buddhist Church communities.

Frank enjoyed golfing, ukulele, and spending time with family and friends. Frank is survived by his wife, Darlene, his children, Kelly and Ryan, his siblings, George, Arline, and Richard, and his three grandchildren, Phillip, Ben, and Olivia. Viewing hours are scheduled at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, September 28, 2018, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Frank’s life at the Fresno Betsuin Family Dharma Center on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 3:00 pm.
