Obituary for Frank Jr. Murphy US Army Veteran MURPHY Frank Jr. Resident of Batavia, 06/04/2018 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of 66 years to Dolores A. (nee Brock) Murphy. Loving father of Shelley R. Murphy Pope and the late Gregory M. Murphy (2009).

Brother of James “Jim” (Deloris) Murphy and Colleen Duttweiler. Cherished grandfather of Lynsey R. (nee Pope) Bock, Ryan R. Pope, Gregory M. Murphy II. Great-grandfather of Ellie, Avery, Kayla, Elizabeth and Emily.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was a lifetime resident of Batavia and a 1949 graduate of Batavia High School. He also attended OSU for two years and was a member of the Batavia American Legion.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 5PM until time of service 7PM at Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia. Interment Batavia Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Clermont to the Rescue Humane Society.
