Frank’s Obituary Frank, of Farmington Hills, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday morning, May 22nd. He was 89. Frank was born September 16, 1929, in Dearborn, to the late Frank and Anna (Kopera) Pilzner.

He married Stella M. (Wach) on March 31, 1951, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Detroit. Surviving are his beloved wife of 68 years, Stella; loving children, Dennis, Judy (Alan) Judge, Cheryl (Jeffrey) Balsis, Timothy (Ellen) and Paul (Amy); a brother, Edward (Phyllis) Pilzner; a sister, Patricia (the late Richard) Kostin; grandchildren, Frank (Tiffany) Judge, Melissa (Mark) Bauernfeind, David Judge, Nicholas Judge, Bradley (Erica) Balsis, Scott Balsis, Danielle (finace’ Sean Martinez) Balsis, Monica Pilzner, Stephen Pilzner, Brandon (Ann) Pilzner, Ethan Pilzner, Graham Pilzner and Trevor Pilzner; and great-grandchildren, Penelope, Mia, Maren, Gianna, Elina, Tony, Natalie and Nora. The Pilzner family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, May 24, from 2-8 pm.

The Holy Cross Council Knights of Columbus will lead the rosary at 7 pm. Frank’s funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday morning, May 25th, at 10:00 am (in state 9:30 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd. , Farmington.

Father Mark Brauer will preside. Interment will take place privately on Tuesday, May 28th, at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Sorrows Church or the Capuchins.
