Cannelton, Indiana – Frank Swaney, 66, passed away on Saturday July 14, 2018, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Spencer County on August 7, 1951. His parents were the late Robert and Betty (Tabor) Swaney.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, Bill Swaney. A U.S. Army veteran, Frank married Bridget McDonald on August 30, 1991 in Tell City. He was well known in Perry County as a tow truck driver.

He had driven for Young’s Wrecker Service, Perry County Towing, Ohio Valley Towing and Rivertown Towing. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Bridget Swaney, Cannelton; daughters, Betty Swaney, Rockport and Amy Swaney, Princeton; sons, Robert Swaney, Otwell and James Swaney, Cannelton; sister, Sandi Pustelnick of Michigan; brother, Clifton “Corky” Crawford, Tell City and grandchildren, Mateo Calderon, Ella Swaney and Jeremy, Jr., Ashton and Landan Cole.

Frank’s wishes were to have no services. Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, will be assisting the family during this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Cannelton Volunteer Fire Department.
