Frederick Anthony Bralich July 29, 1938 – October 8, 2018, age 80, peacefully returned to his heavenly father on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was an exceptional father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and best friend. He was born July 29, 1938 to Leona and Simon Bralich.

He was the 7th of 10 children. He is survived by his close companion for the past 25 years Irene Ridgeman who was by his side when he passed. He is also survived by his children who made him proud: Sandra (Michael) Grunwaldt, Robert (Carol) Bralich, Jean Muller, and Irene’s son Michael (Alison) Ridgeman.

He is also survived by his three grandchildren, who he was also very proud of, Brianna Mikayla Bralich, Lucy Madison Muller and Connor Frederick Bralich. He is also survived by his brother Don (Rose) Bralich and sister Pauline Lapp. He was preceeded in death by his brothers and sisters Elizabeth Coats, Florence Shertzer, Josephine Diekfuss, Anita Ascher, Andrew Bralich, Matthew Bralich, Thomas Bralich.

Fred worked at Waukesha Engine for 32 years and retired at the young age of 59. His passion for antiques led him to his second career owning North Prairie Antiques. Fred honorably served in the US Army 1961-1963.

He enjoyed the Brewers, golfing, and companionship and breakfast with his friend John every Wednesday morning. A very special thank you to the nursing staff at the Veterans Administration in Milwaukee for their tireless care of Fred during his final days. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations to St Paul’s School – Catholic Education are welcome.

Visitation for Fred will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 9:00AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot (S38 W31602 Wern Way—NW corner of Hwy 83 and Hwy D), with Fr. Dan Volkert officiating. Military honors to follow mass.

Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha. Thelen Funeral Services of North Prairie/Genesee is honored to be assisting the family.
