Age 90, formerly of Mount Lebanon and Peters Township, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Beloved husband for 54 years of the late Patricia (Pelissier) Haller; proud father of Kathleen Messimer, Michael, Joseph, Thomas, Patrick, Fred Jr. and the late Mark Haller; brother of John “Jack”, the late Rev. Joseph, Grace, Leo, and Frank Haller; loving grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Austin, Daniel, Patrick, Katy, Sara, Angela, Finn, Penny and Nolan; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Fred was a proud Army Veteran and a devout Roman Catholic. In 1950, he graduated from Carnegie Tech. with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and when he returned from the service went to work for Carrier Corp.

where he aspired to become Vice-President of Sales. Friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon on Friday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
