OBITUARY Fred Albert Holseberg Jr. April 14, 2018 – November 3, 2018 Fred Albert Holseberg Jr. 88, of Eutawville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, November 3, 2018. He was born March 14, 1930 in Newport News, VA, to the late Fred Albert Holseberg and Martha Cleo Beckum. He retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Pipe Insulator, he also worked on the nuclear program and wage survey team.

He had a passion for hunting, fishing with his sons, and later in life a passion for karaoke singing. He was always the life of every party, with a joke and a laugh for everyone. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his three daughters, Deborah Elaine (Greg) Raptou, of Moncks Corner, SC, Dianne (Steve) Potts, of Daniel Island, SC and Donna Holseberg (Jeff) Oliver, of Summerville, SC, two sons, Fred A. (Kay) Holseberg III of Holly Hill, SC, and Hutch (Cheryl) Holseberg, of Eutawville, SC, one siser, Gloria Bell of Martinville, LA, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Lea Holseberg, and a son, Timmy Holseberg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 6, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.

A funeral will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 12:00 pm . Entombment will follow in the Carolina Memorial Park mausoleum.
