Mr. Fred Douglas Brown age 72 passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. , Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Olive Branch Baptist Church.

Rev. Herbert Brown will officiate. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.

Mr. Brown had an extensive collection of RC airplanes and enjoyed flying them. He retired from Owassa Brownsville Water Authority after 18 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Letitia Brown of Evergreen, Son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Douglas and Tara Lynn Brown of Wetumpka, Daughter and son-in-law, Amy Brown and Mike Porter of Foley, Grandchildren, Dawson and Shelby Brown, Michael and Madison Porter.

Active pallbearers, Mike Porter, Shane Ford, Kenny Brown, Andy Skipper, Dalton Campbell, and Chris Evans. Honarary pallbearers, Gary Beckmann, Wayne Carrier, James Sims, Todd Darby, and Hyram Beesley Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents Fred Daniel and Hazel Brooks Brown, and brother Dan Brown. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to the Olive Branch Baptist Church building fund or a charity of ones choice.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Mark Roberts and his staff. Also to Southern Care Hospice of Evergreen.
