OBITUARY Fred H. Norris March 2, 1928 – July 16, 2018 Fred Harold Norris passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the age of 90, exactly 5 months after his wife of 70 years, Patricia. Fred was a member of the Air Force for 22 years of service, retiring in 1968, as a Senior Master Sergeant. While in the Air Force, Fred was stationed in Mississippi, Colorado, North Dakota, Maine, New York, Florida, Japan and Guam.

Before joining the Air Force, Fred was a roadie for Bill Monroe, the “Father of Bluegrass”, and the Blue Grass Boys. After retiring from the Air Force, Fred was employed by Martin Marietta, now Lockheed Martin, retiring after 22 years. Fred was a member of the South Orlando Elks Lodge 2694 and the American Legion Post 286 and loved playing Santa Claus for the Elks’ Christmas Parties.

Fred was an avid bowler and fisherman. Fred is survived by his two sons, Bruce (Deborah) and Jerry, his two daughters, Debbie Sieffert (Bob) and Pam Larimer (Ron), 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The Norris Family invites you to join them in Celebrating Fred’s Life on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.

Visitation will be at 12:30 and Service at 1:00pm, with Military Honors at the 2:00pm Committal. Condolences may be offered at www.
