Fred Lee Herman, 68, of Alvin passed away on March 2, 2019. He was born on September 19, 1950 in Cary, Mississippi to parents, Fred and Dorothy (Ritter) Herman. Fred married the love of his life, Christine Nance on November 14, 1987.

He was known as Buster to everyone that he met. He worked as a hydraulic specialist. His knowledge and expertise of the hydraulic system enabled him to travel worldwide to teach to both the government officials and large companies.

He had a passion for technology and came to love computers. He found a new passion in building and rebuilding computers. He is preceded in death by: his father, Fred Herman; daughter, Leslie Cavallaro, and stepdaughter Erin Pickett.

Left to treasure Buster’s memory are his loving wife, Christine Herman; mother, Dorothy Herman; sister, Faye Castello and husband Nick; son, Erik Fannin and wife Jennifer; grandchildren: Erik, Emily, Ethan, Ella, Kyle and numerous other family members and friends.
