He was the proud grandfather of Hannah Marie Albrest. Fred was the father of Brandy Edwards. He was the brother of Sandra Levine (Mike).

Fred will be dearly missed by his mother-in-law, Geraldine Carter, brothers-in-law, James Carter (Jasmine), Joseph Carter (Gemma), Dennis Carter (Darryl), Dean Carter (Nannette), Hugh Carter, Todd Carter (Virginia) and sister-in-law, Denise Gottschalck (Mike).
