Freda M. Tallman, 93, of Mifflinburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:10 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was born April 11, 1926, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Benival C. and Catherine L. (Straussner) Ross. On August 20, 1950, in Montoursville, she married William L. Tallman, Sr., who survives.

Freda was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker, but was previously employed at Chef Boyardee, and Evangelical Community Hospital as a kitchen worker. Freda enjoyed flower gardening, painting, yard sales, and attending family gatherings.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Brenda Tallman of Lewisburg, and William Jr. and Melanie Tallman of Mifflinburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Wilma Wetzel of Mifflinburg, and Dawn and Jeff Benner of Mifflinburg; five grandchildren, Karen, Brad, Kelsey, Courtney, and Zachary; five great-grandchildren, Amy, Shawnee, Natalia, Bentley, and Lena; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Robert Wetzel; one great-granddaughter, Aleah; and nine sisters, Grace, Daisy, Aida, Pearl, Nellie, Mildred, Bertha, Alma, and Edna. Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, and 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd.

, Mifflinburg. , where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Mifflinburg.
