Frederick Douglas Scarbrough was born December 11,1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Emma and Wilbert Scarbrough. He departed this life on January 18, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. While living in Birmingham, Frederick graduated from Wenonah High School.

In 1999 he made Fort Wayne his home and gained employment with Fort Wayne Plastics and retired in 2009. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbert Jr., Earl and Lawrence Scarbrough. He leaves to cherish, his daughter, Jacqueline Robinson and a brother, Paul Scarborough both of Birmingham; his step children, Latrice Salley, Dennis Salley, Keyna Salley, Nelson Salley, Robert Salley and Robert Boyd all of Fort Wayne other relatives and dear friends.
