Frederick “Fred” G. Groat, age 76, of Rothbury, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at home. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5th,beginning at 2 pm with a memorial service to follow Thursday at 3 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby with Pastor Anne Riegler officiating. Interment will be in Otto Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Shelby United Methodist Church, 68 E. Third Street, Shelby, MI 49455. A complete obituary will be posted soon.
