Frederick James Stelly November 11, 1963 – May 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card OPELOUSAS ~ Private services will be held at a later date for Frederick James Stelly, age 55, who passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas. Mr. Stelly was a native of Washington and a resident of both Washington and Opelousas. He was employed as a carpenter with Old Wood Accents in Washington.

Survivors include his mother, the former Rita Zerangue; his daughter, Crystal Stelly and her fiancé, Beau Bellard, of Mamou; a brother, Michael Keith Stelly of Opelousas; and two sisters, Melissa Ann Brasseaux and her husband, Charles, of Washington and Cindy Arnaud and her husband, Woody, of Port Barre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Ann Desormeaux Stelly; his father, Patrick Stelly, Sr.; and a brother, Patrick Stelly, Jr. Melancon Funeral Home of Opelousas, 4708 I-49 North Service Road, (337) 407-1907, is in charge of arrangements.
