Frederick L. Good of Belmont and N. Scituate. Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. Good (Powell). Devoted father of Barbara Wiechert and her husband Ralph of Scituate, Dr. Lillian Good and her husband Keith Barracough of Mountain View, CA.

and Frederick L. Good, Jr. and his wife Erin of Melrose. Loving grandfather of Henry, Lillian, Jackson and Claire Wiechert, Kayla, Morgan and Brynn Good, and Jackson and Makai Barraclough. Brother of Albert Good and his wife Ellen of Dover, the late Francis Good and his wife Barbara of Scituate, the late Sr. Irene Good RSCJ of Maryland, and the late John Good and his late wife Edna of Cambridge.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fred was a graduate of the Cambridge High and Latin School and a “double eagle” from Boston College. Following college Fred joined the Army to serve his country before embarking on a 40 plus year career at State Street Bank.

Fred spent his summers at Minot beach in Scituate and especially enjoyed rounds of golf with his late wife and many friends at Hatherly Country Club. When not on the golf course Fred could be found at many Boston College football games cheering on the Eagles with his friends and family. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd.

, Belmont on Friday Dec 14 at 8:00 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 128 Common St., Belmont at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.

Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Interment Cambridge Cemetery.
