Obituary for Frederick William Appenzeller Appenzeller, Frederick William age 83 passed away on April 9, 2018 at Augustana Lakeside Nursing Home in Dassel, MN. Fred was born to Jacob and Helen Appenzeller on June 17, 1934. He grew up in the Chaska area and liked to fish and hunt.

Fred served in the Korean War for the Air Force as a Flight Mechanic in Bermuda. He worked for Northwest Orient Airlines in California, Continental Machines in Savage, MN and Mystic Lake Casino. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, wife Emma Lou, and 3 siblings.

Fred is survived by brother, Albert Appenzeller; son, William (Wendy) and their son, Zachary of Dassel, MN; daughters, Yvonne of Bellingham, WA and Patricia (Mike) Matsunaga and their sons, Nicholas and Thomas of West Bend, WI. Memorial Mass Saturday, April 21, 10:30 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 W 2nd St, Chaska, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.

Inter-ment Guardian Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
