Fredrick Raymond Walters, son of Wilbur Raymond Walters and Beverly Ann (Boyce) Walters, was born September 20, 1953 in Creston, IA, and passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his home in Creston. He lived his whole life in Creston except for the time in the Military. Fredrick graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1972.

He enlisted in the United States Army on September 29, 1972 and was Honorably Discharged on September 20, 1975. He married Nancy Ann Stone on August 8, 1975… Read More » in Germany while in the Army. Fredrick worked for Wellmans, Boyd’s Appliance, True Value and Skelgas.

He remained in the Military, serving in both the Army Reserves and the National Guard. Fredrick is survived by sons, Jason Walters, Creston, IA; Nicholas (Lisa) Walters, West Des Moines, IA; and grandson, Bryce Walters, Creston. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Nancy, in 2016; grandparents; and brother, Ted Walters.
