Frieda P. Bauer, 82 of Quakertown died Sunday December 2, 2018 in St. Luke’s Hospital – Quakertown Campus. She was the wife of Oscar R. Bauer, Jr They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last September.

Born in Marlborough Township, Montgomery County she was the daughter of the late Emma (Peterson) King and the late Milton Hoffman. She worked in several hosiery mills and retired from the former Thermco Products Co. in Quakertown. She enjoyed country music and line dancing.

She also enjoyed crocheting and shopping. Spending time with her children and grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen U. C. C. in East Greenville.

In addition to her husband Frieda is survived by a daughter Susan Datesman (Wilson) and a son Michael Bauer (Donna). A brother Bobby King and a sister Dorothy Scheetz. Three grandchildren Heather, Angie and Jason.

Eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by several siblings. Services will be held on Friday December 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.
