~ In Loving Memory Gabriel Diaz ~ 1954 – 2019 Gabriel Diaz age 64 of South Chicago formerly of Mexico City, MX passed away on January 7, 2019. Gabriel was a loving person and was devoted to his family and Catholic faith. Throughout his life he had many hobbies that included writing poems, drawing, and playing the guitar.

Gabriel enjoyed dancing, watching soccer and also traveling to Mexico. Loving son of late Santos and Maria de Jesus Del Rel. Beloved father of Gabriela (Joseph) Diaz, Alberto Diaz and Eduardo Diaz.

Cherished grandfather of Emily and Penelope. Life-long partner of Eshter Diaz, loving brother of late Maria De Refugio, Juan, Felipe, Sara, Pepe, Georgina, Susie, Arthur and George. Visitation will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3 PM until 9 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewsich, 13300 S. Houston Ave.

Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 9:30 AM for 10 AM Funeral Mass.

Church pending. Interment private. Gabriel will be dearly missed by family and friends.
