OBITUARY Gail G. Funk December 6, 1924 – September 19, 2018 Gail Genevieve (McDowell) Funk Born December 6, 1924 Died September 19, 2018 Born to John and Frances McDowell, Gail married Edward William Funk in 1943. He preceded her in death in 2008 after almost 65 years of marriage. Gail is also preceded in death by her two daughters Linda Harrell and Kittie Chaney Brown.

A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Gail leaves behind sons William (Ann) Funk and Clifford (Shellee) Funk, daughter Phyllis (Jamie) Riley, and son in law Jeffre Harrell. Grandchildren were the light of her life and she leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will begin receiving relatives and friends at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Parish at 2929 McCracken St., Muskegon, with a Rosary being recited prior to an 11:00 a.m. Rite of Christian Burial.
