Gary A. Rodrigues, 63, passed away suddenly at home in Quincy MA on January 8, 2019. Born in Ludlow, MA on January 29, 1955, he was the son of the late Fernao and Dorothy (Ferrier) Rodrigues and a graduate of Ludlow High School and Westfield State College. He worked as a collection agent for the Internal Revenue Service in Boston and then Framingham until he retired in 2012.

Gary loved watching the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Red Sox, and Celtics. He also loved model trains… Read More » and enjoyed the model train show at the Big E held each January. He was also a member of the Union Church of Christ in Ludlow and a charter member of The Unity Athletic Club of Ludlow.

Gary leaves his sister, Susan McMahon and brother, Brian Rodrigues of Ludlow, MA. and his nephew Jason McMahon of Quincy MA. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1 pm at Ludlow Funeral Home, 432 East St., Ludlow, MA 01056, with committal prayers to follow at Island Pond Cemetery, Center St., Ludlow.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 5 – 7 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s name to Union Church of Christ Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 445, Ludlow, MA 01056 or online at TheMiamiProject.org, a foundation working to cure paralysis.
