Gary Anthony Duda, 57, of Virginia passed away Monday Oct. 1, 2018 after a period of declining health. Gary was born June 23, 1961 in Oil City, PA.

, son of the late Joseph P. & Shirley R. Beck Duda. He graduated from St. Stephen grade school and Venango Christian High School in 1979. Gary received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1985.

His most recent position was a Portfolio Risk Analyst with Southern Global in Chesapeake, VA. Gary was of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his brother Joseph P. Duda Jr. & his wife Amy of Wooster, OH sisters Deborah S. Gale & her husband Christopher of Ascot, England Cheryl L. Donze & her husband James of Oil City and his twin brother Gregory G. Duda & his wife Tami of Oil City nieces and nephews include: Emily, Madeline, Jennifer, Meaghan and Alyson Gale of England Elliot Donze & his wife Alexa of Navarre, FL Hayley Donze of Oil City Natasha Brittain & her husband William of Pittsburgh Taylor Duda of Franklin Tyler Duda of Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Katharine Newman in 2016. At the request of the family there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at the family’s convenience.

Entombment will be in Bishop McManaman Memorial Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
