Berglan, Gary Lynn, 65, of Choctaw died June 11, 2018 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 25, 1952 in Norman, OK to Paul and Marie Berglan. Gary dedicated 40 years in the Choctaw Nicoma Park Schools as a teacher, principal and Assistant Superintendent.

He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his three daughters, Thaja and husband Ryan Giles of Newcastle, Tara and husband Chris Simon… Read More » of Choctaw, Tia and husband Michael Simons of Midwest City; eight grandchildren, Jacey Simons, Tatum Simon, Londyn Giles, Gage Simons, Logan Simon, Sienna Simon, Heston Giles, and Christian Abla; three brothers, Dwight (Ann) Berglan, Curtis (Reva) Berglan, and Caylon Berglan all of Norman and one sister, Margaret (Joe) Tisdale of Lake Dallas, TX.

Gary will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at Choctaw High School Performing Arts Center at 2:00 PM June 14, 2018 with interment following at Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
