Gary Earl Hinton, age 62, of Muskegon and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 in Muskegon. Gary was a self-employed contractor who owned A to Z Tile in Chicago until he moved to Muskegon in 1995 where he owned and operated Home Town Builders. Gary loved his dogs, growing flowers, playing his guitar and singing.

He had a big heart for helping people and enjoyed all kinds of building projects. Gary felt that the two ladies who had the greatest positive impact on his life were his Aunt Bonita E. Wambaugh and his Grandma June Beach. Survivors include his brother, Thomas Edward Greenawalt and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Hinton and Karen Greenawalt and brothers, Lyle Sidney Hinton and Joseph C. Hinton. A memorial service will be held and the date, time and place will be posted soon.
