OBITUARY Gary Pendergraft January 11, 1941 – January 22, 2019 Gary Oliver Pendergraft, 78 of Supply, NC formerly of Salisbury, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his home. Born in West Palm Beach, FL on the eleventh of January 1941, he was a son of the late Joseph Coleman and Frances Waddell Pendergraft. Gary was a retired contractor sales representative in the building supplies industry.

He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Salisbury where he played the bass guitar in their praise and worship group. Gary enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lee Ann Pendergraft.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Susan “Sue” Pendergraft; two sons, Gary Michael Pendergraft and wife Mary of St. Augustine, FL, Johnathan Curtis Pendergraft of Supply, NC; two grandchildren, Vera Pendergraft, Rose Pendergraft; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Allman, Rachel Torrence and husband Bob, Sharon Hall and husband Johnny and a brother-in-law, Gary Strickland. A memorial service will be conducted at Friendship Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC at a later date. Online condolences are encouraged and may be offered at www.
